Thought I'd update the thread.
Went to the docs got the original appointment reason out the way and thought if I don't mention this now I never will so I went through with it.
Obviously its a little embarrassing and I wish the room was warmer lol but I feel better for going through with it.The doctor was actually very reassuring and cool with it.
Said he couldn't feel any lumps but that I might have a slight infection which is the reason for pain think he said epididymitis.I've also given a urine sample just to rule out std's but I'm pretty sure its not that as was he.
I've been put on doxycycline for 14 days and I'm hoping it sorts the problem out.The only negative is there making me feel quite sick and I'm struggling to eat food as as soon as I go to eat I gag.
The one thing that did alarm me was when I mentioned pain before ejauclation to which he said was quite common?? I've never experience that prior to this.
I'll update the thread after the tablets have taken there course.

Ouch. Epidydimitis is painful. It is the bit of the testicle where the sperm grow btw. Doxycyxline can make people sick - but it will pass. Be careful to stay out of the sun while you are taking it tho. That warning SHOULD be on the label so make sure you DO read the label and the leaflet. Also avoid milk for 2 hours before or after . Hopefully you are only taking it once a day. Hope you feel better soon

Now you have jumped that hurdle, has it made you stronger and a little more confident? Do you now feel that if someone in your situation, came to you for advice, you would be able to look them in the eye and say "get an appointment and get it sorted"???
My OH took Doxycycline when he went to the far east as an anti-malarial. He was told to take it two hours after/before eating, and to swallow them using a large glass of water and stand up when taking it. He always thought his GP was taking the p*** with this recommendation - but apparently not!!! It made him feel queasy for the first couple of doses, but wore off once he got involved in work.
Well done for getting to the doctor and getting the courage to ask about it. See... it wasn't that hard or embarrassing was it. 😉
At least now you can take the medication and see if that helps clear things up, and if not you'll be ok to go back to the doctor and speak to him again.

I've got to take 1 tab twice a day 🙁 I'm only on my 3rd day and I've not noticed much difference yet woke up early due to having pain whilst sleeping
Complete the course of meds first... it may take a while to clear up if it's an infection, especially as you sound like you've had it quite a while.
If there's no improvement when you've completed the course, get back to the doctor for more tests etc.

Quick update its been 1 week since i started the course of meds.
I've not noticed much difference yet apart from sitting is getting more & more uncomfortable 🙁
There's def what feels like a slight swelling at the top of my testicle.
Also i get pain from an area above & right from what feels like a hard vein or nerve when i pinch my finger and thumb together slightly paranoid now
No need to be paranoid, it's quite normal for some parts down there to feel tender if you press them.
If there's a slight swelling it may just be a cyst, but best you go back to the doctor if you've completed the meds and it's no better, and they can arrange for you to be checked properly (ultrasound scans are painless so nothing to worry about).

Right still not feeling much better plus i've been getting a few sharp pains occasionally now on the right side which are quite painful.Having had a closer look there's def dark blue veins on the right side not that they are enlarged and are more prominent than the left side
Ok, well, veins down there are quite normal, as it's an area that has a lot of blood flow, so I wouldn't be too concerned about that, but of course get the doctor to check it out again.
It could of course be that you're prodding and poking so much because you're concerned, that you're making it tender yourself, but if the antibiotics haven't seemed to make any difference then you can rule out an infection, which is one positive thing. The doctor will probably want you to go for an ultrasound scan next; but talk to them and see what they say.
