Would anyone know what this might be. For the last week or so I've been waking up at around 3 am every night feeling chilled but then have muscle aches and pains, tingling, pins and needles and a feeling that I'm losing the feeling in my arms and legs. Once I'm up this feels better but I do get it slightly during the day - I thought maybe a neck problem but as it's in my feet I've ruled that out.
Could it be something I'm eating that I'm sensitive too? Anyone have any ideas because it's doing my head in at the moment - and I've not had a good nights sleep in ages. And I'm getting a bit worried about it now.
Don't rule anything out! Everything is connected! Go and get yourself checked out, even if it is just to get your mind set at ease.
Hi Janet,
Yes get yourself checked by the doctors.Have you got anything on your mind? Waking at 3am is related to the liver/lung meridain.
Hope you get sorted soon

Hi
Yes I do have a lot on my mind at the moment - this year has been a particularly difficult one with a really bad chest infection at the beginning of the year, then I quit smoking cold turkey which really took it out of me and although I'm now over all of the smoking and chest thing I do seem to have continuous problems with my bowels and constipation and everything I take to try to rectify this seems to have an adverse effect on me.
So I would say that I have a lot to cope with at the moment - I'm also doing a temp job which I'm not particularly enjoying and today I've just completed a health assessment about using computers, screens, chairs etc. and some of the problems that you can get from bad chairs etc were exactly what I've been experiencing, tingling, muscle pain, pins and needles, and I'm wondering if it's the job that has done this because I didn't have any of these symptoms until I started and as a lot of my work has been repetitive inputting on databases etc. there could be a link. I'm also wondering if lying in bed I'm lying on a nerve that sets it off.
I'm seeing a physio tonight so will have a good talk to him and see what he suggests.
But it's strange I had none of this 6 weeks ago prior to this job - maybe I should quit as it's obviously not agreeing with me.
Been to the physio tonight and he said I do have something wrong with the neck- had a name but couldn't make it out but basically it's very strained and this would cause the pins and needles, tingling and all the other symptoms so after treatment tonight will see how I am during the night.
Hello again,
Its sounds like maybe you might get some help with your neck...Which side is the pain on? And well done for you to give up smoking and getting over your chest infection......just remember no matter what happens...it may take time to sort ones health out...put you have got a life time to try.
Try everything and anything.

Well I've another session booked for next week but it's scary to think what side effects and how it can affect the rest of your body when you have a problem somewhere else. I had horrendous jaw pain and it was only when someone said it could be referred pain from my neck that made me investigate it further.
Hi
All these symptoms relates to your heart. I had a heart attack with these symptoms which could not be diognised after 6 ECGs. Please check your cholestrol level.
All the best.

Good method to deal with many "unbeatable" things, migrane
for example, is Su-jok seed therapy = using energy accumulated in seeds applied on zones on your palm or anywhere according to a particular
"correspondence system".
You'll almost certainly be able to find a good specialist
nereby.
Astha - why cholestrol - would that have any bearing on these feelings. I eat a healthy diet, exercise loads, stopped smoking, and very rarely drink alcohol so I'd be surprised if it was very high?
Alks - never heard of Su-jok Seed therapy - what would I search for to find a practitioner?
It's called like that - Su-jok therapy so that's the name for inquiery.
This is Korean version of acupuncture/reflexotherapy but using many types
of projections of organs onto various body parts like palm, forearm, abdomen etc and far more tools than classic acupuncture or reflexology including seeds.
Among things I know this is probably the best, like, often freeing of migraine pain in several minutes.
As for healthy diet, exercises and so on, there's still a trap for Westernees,
for example, if you eat day by day mostly potatoes, tomato, chicken/lamb, yogurt, aubergine and no carrot, buckwheat, radishes etc, you constantly disturb your body balance to Yin as first are strong Yin meals, which is the same as any other harmful factor causing Yin-diseases like extreme cold.
So if you're prone to cancer you're getting closer and closer to as cancer is ultimate Yin disease.
So what or how could I change my diet - what should I be eating?
Hi Janet
My view is that a good chiropractor would sort you out - but I don't believe you'll get an instant cure. Also I would recommend a Pilates class.

I sent a PM.
Re: Sujok therapy
They teach at Regents college. I learnt basics from a gentleman who came to London to teach Sujok and did wonders to many people. It is like Ayurveda you should know how to balance all the five elements and according to that the seeds are applied to the reflex points on your fingers and palm. Very effective.
Visit Sujok web site.
