Hello there!
A little advice please. Ive moved into a new place and the noise levels from upstairs are driving me crazy. She seems to spend her whole time slamming doors and dragging things across the floor. I wake up ay 7am with it and it continues if she is at home some days all day till 10pm. Sometimes its loud music or loud chats. I have let the head of the residents assoc know to have a discreet word.
Now I know that - sometimes the outside world can reflect the inner- sometimes we can send good stuff to something and it will calm down. I dont think me getting mad about the noise levels helps- but its relentless.....
Any advice at all on anything I can do- it may be a long shot. I am looking for somewhere else to live which is proving hard and I have just moved here- but the noise is driving me to distraction.
Please any advice- perhaps there is nothing for it but grin and bear it or leave?
I found this spell in an old Spirit & Destiny magazine and managed to do this a few weeks ago. Hope this might help you too. The diy isn't going on till 10.40 like before and within a couple of days they had started clearing their yard and the pavement up. Still a nightmare to live next door to but maybe I am more tolerant after this spell.
Good luck x x
Spell for problem with neighbours
Best time - Moon phase - waning, to pull away negative energy
You'll need:-
Black pen,
A slip of paper,
sewing pin,
Empty jam jar & lid,
tablespoon of garlic powder,
tablespoon of black pepper,
tub of runny glue,
small netting bag (like oranges come in),
cotton wool balls.
Write on paper with black pen the address of your neighbour and the nature of the problem.
Fold the paper in half, secure with pin whilst saying:-
This pin pricks your conscience,
Your mouth will not run,
Your reign of strife is over and done,
I work this spell with harm to none.Drop paper into jar, add garlic and black pepper to banish negativity.
Pour in enough runny glue to totally cover the paper and as it sets, it will stop the bad behaviour.
Place netting on top of glue to trap them in their own negativity, and fill the rest of the jar with cotton wool to filter out their noise.
Screw on the lid and keep jar in a place of power, such as by your altar, or inside your home near the threshold of the main entrance.
You can add more glue with each incident, just remove the cotton wool balls and replace them afterwards. You should see an improvement within a couple of weeks.
Thank you! I am going to get the ingrdients and give it a go! Anything is worth it to stop the constant racket!!

I'd be interested to know if it works.

Laminate flooring and minimalist living probably has a lot to do with it.
This is an old article but I know it does cause an awful lot of problems in flats.
BBC NEWS | Scotland | Action call over floorboard noise
Easy to maintain but a nightmare for those underneath.
I would always advise those wanting to use Laminate or wood flooring in flats to place scrap carpet under furniture where it cannot be seen but helps noise control.
Best of luck and strength dealing with this.
You really should not have to put up with it.
Have you heard of Switchwords?
I have heard of someone getting good results from saying
ADJUST-QUIET-CUT SHUT....TOGETHER DIVINE ADJUST QUIET CUT SHUT..
over and over during the day and if noise starts up
.
While chanting,/speaking focus on what you want to happen...keep thoughts on peace, quiet tranquily, harmony
and how good it would feel when they SHUT UP
tigress
Thank you- shall try that too- shall try anything. 🙂
By the way do you suggest any good books on switchwords? Sounds really interesting
Thanks

Shall look it up- in the meantime I have put a little note up in the communal hallway asking us all to be mindful of our neighbours and not slam doors- it seems like there is one element in the building that causes noise- which leads to others raising their noise levels to combat him or simply because they are fed up- one bad apple- thats all it takes- he is on the top floor and last night his music could be heard in my bedroom on the first floor- and he takes his dog out for a walk about 10-15 times a day- the hallway is littered with dirt marks and paw prints- oh- be nice- be mindful- have some self respect......am being all naggy I know 🙂

I know exactly how you feel!! If they didn't have children I expect I would have my music on full blast for the weekend and stay at a friends house. It shouldn't be tit for tat but sometimes it goes on for so long you feel like you are going crazy. Just grateful I have one house next door to me :p
You do dont you- you feel like you are in this utter hell- and when you come home theres that dread- its terrible- it seems so many people suffer with the neighbour issue- I dont mind the sound of chatting even or a bit of tv- that white noise of others- but the constant dragging, slamming, banging is purely awful
Im hoping something will work- some positive thinking- something- something:)

Hi Purelightreiki,
Sorry to be the one to ask the glaringly obvious but have you considered having a word with your upstairs neighbours about the noise?
If you have considered this and have not yet done it because you feel for whatever reason they are not approachable, why don't you invite them down for tea and cake as a way of saying hello and don't mention the noise, wait until you have become a little friendlier sort of thing then mention it, they may not even be aware of the issue it may not have occured to them you can hear them I am always surprised by how thick some people really are so this may be the case.
Love

If your noisy neighbour is either thick or selfish then he probably won't think this applies to him. I agree with Becky Boop's suggestion- just go up and speak to the person, ideally when you've got a friend or relative visiting you- they don't have to stand behind you to intimidate the neighbour, but just having them nearby out of sight will enhance your confidence.
You can further enhance your confidence using the spiritual methods others have suggested. If you can remain calm then there's more chance of communication rather than confrontation. If you frame it as a polite request rather than a demand, then he may not feel he's losing face by complying, maybe he can even feel good about himself for complying. Try and stick to the objective facts when you talk to him ie "your furniture makes a lot of noise when you drag it across the floor", rather than "your noise makes me very angry".
If possible visit him around late morning/early afternoon when he's less likely to be intoxicated.
Yes, I agree - try speaking to the person upstairs about the problem. I did this once when the lady upstairs used to hoover her flat all day and every day. I took the bull by the horns and went upstairs and calmly and politely asked her if she could hoover during the day when we were out at work as it affected the reception of both our TV and stereo. She was quite OK and even apologetic about it and hadn't even realised it might be a problem. Yet downstairs I had been seething about it, thinking she had got the hoover out after every little bit of dust that settled - lol. It wasn't so, only in my mind. It was fine after that.
