Any of you had problems with sky (the digital type).
I have been trying to get sky installed since 18th Dec 2006, when I purchased a tv from Comet and with it came free installation. Installation date 23 Dec. Knew as soon as they arrived they had no intention of working (coffee and sandwich did'nt help). Wherever I suggested the dish there was a reason it could'nt go there. They then said I needed a specialist team to go on the (flat) roof to attach to chimney.
They failed to show at a later date. Back to comet offering to return tv (strategically placed in car) unless something done. nb they may as well ring the 08702 40 40 40 number and hang on for hours at great cost. Sky will never ring you back.
Specialist comes 21 Feb but unable to position ladder correctly. Went away.
Now re-shed for 9 March but don't hold out much hope.
Wonder if Virgin Media could help me or are they only cable?
