About Rachel Durrant Counselling

Integrative Counselling in Epsom, Surrey

I believe that people are unique individuals with different ways of coping with living in the world and find that by working integratively I am able to adapt my work to suit you and your individual needs. My approach draws on different theories and strategies including psychoanalytic attachment theory, neuroscience, solution focused ideas. My aim is to create a safe, warm, private space where my clients feel that they can explore difficulties without judgement in order to heal and grow.

Some of the issues I have worked with include anxiety, stress, depression, loss (bereavement, parental seperation/divorce), self-harm, suicidal thoughts, abuse, domestic violence, family and romantic relationships, gender dysmorphia, body dysmorphia, social anxiety and selective mutism.

I am a fully insured and registered member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy and I abide by their Code of Ethics in my work. If you would like to know more about the different forms of therapy please visit the BACP website on www.bacp.co.uk

I can offer face to face counselling, Skype or telephone counselling and focused workshops.
