Looking for help with anxiety or other emotional difficulties? Then you might be interested to know that CBT can help you to discover a new way of moving forwards with your life. Working on the basis that our thoughts, feelings, emotions, symptoms and behaviours are all connected, a CBT therapist and client work together collaboratively to detangle your difficulties, and improve your emotional wellbeing. Cognitive Behavioural Therapy is the NICE recommended approach for anxiety related disorders (eg. general anxiety, phobias, OCD) and depression, and it can be helpful for many everyday complaints, such as work stress, insomnia relationship difficulties, exam pressure, even physical complaints such as IBS, and chronic pain conditions (eg. lower back pain, migraine). 

I am professionally trained in the cognitive behavioural approach by the College of Cognitive Behavioural Therapies, and have thorough training in this area.

I am also a qualified Mindfulness instructor. I often use Mindfulness as part of my CBT therapy, but can also offer mindfulness classes in Bath on a one-to-one basis or in small group workshops.
