About Akeso Wellbeing – Relaxing Complementary Therapies for Women

Hello and welcome to Akeso Wellbeing. My name is Claire and I am a Complementary Therapist based in Stevenage, Hertfordshire.

At the heart of my philosophy is the desire to be of service and help people attain improvements to their health and wellbeing.

My interest in complementary therapies started over ten years ago when I started receiving regular monthly aromatherapy and reflexology treatments with holistic therapists in Devon. I began to notice the positive effects and the significant changes that started to occur within my diet, lifestyle and overall wellbeing. This led me onto meditation and holistic short courses, reading and researching into various complementary and alternative therapies, self-development and spiritual subjects.

It was in 2008, that I embarked on my complementary therapy training journey. I love learning and developing myself both professionally and personally.  I am particularly interested by the mind and body connection; how every day physical, mental and emotional stresses can manifest within our bodies through aches and pains, tension, illnesses and diseases; and how different processes can teach people to tune in and listen to their body's messages and help to restore themselves back to optimum health and living a life that is happy, healthy and balanced.

I am a caring and compassionate person who loves making a difference in people’s lives. I am open-minded, patient and supportive towards other people. I enjoy helping and empowering others and have a proven track record in inspiring confidence and motivation in clients to bring out their best.

I am a registered member of the Federation of Holistic Therapists (FHT) and abide by their codes of ethics and guidelines. I am fully insured to practice and teach.
