We are all too busy paying our mortgages, fighting for spaces on buses and trains and just generally being distracted! (I'm taking a day off work today.... ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh... which is why I am posting :-))))

I'm a recent addtion to the forum butLondon born and bread and bored, too busy earning a wage to pay the mortgage to enjoy all the things this wonderus city has to offer.I am going skating at Somerset House on Frideay though, won the tickets on a radio show just for London (BBC 94.9)

If you live in London your a Londoner, I believe that London is like the Vatican City, a separate country within a counrty!

(That reminds me, I must hoover behind that sofa, my cats are molting like crazy)

[sm=nuts.gif] How utterly shameful of me ... I didn't even know these local forums existed until just a moment ago, while browsing for something else entirely!

I'm like RealityMaker, sharing germs with bad-tempered commuters on packed-like-tin-of-sardine-buses & trains & so tired at the end of each day that all I can do is sit & wonder where my life is going off to ... (but now it appears I've had a really nasty dose of glandular fever, labyrinthitis and laryngitis! so that explains a lot then!).

AND we had some snow this week ... how fabulous! this was taken in my back garden on Thursday morn at 6.15am:D

(seems as if more heat leaves my rented home through the flue than actually comes in!)

your back garden is soooo much prettier than mine, now that the wonderful snow has diappeared you can see the whole of the winters soggy leaf fall in mine. (The partner promises to geet rid of this next week!!?)

Well im still here, although it has been a long while. Planning my getaway from London - hopefully moving to Canada this year - woot woot. Good-bye (i hope)to the sweaty armpit in my face, and others yawning, coughing and sneezing in my direction without even trying to cover up. Gotta love our public transport.

Newbie from North West London here, recently qualified in Swedish Massage and Seated Meridian Acupressure. Still in the process of trying to set up my own business, finding it hard work but also the most enjoyable and rewarding experience of my working life so far. Had my first ever client yesterday, a few things went wrong but still got really positive feedback from my client and i left feeling great.

Any other Londoners alive out there? o.O

feeling a bit like 'I Am Legend' at the moment ......... just hope there's no scary, flesh eating zombies around 😮

I'm a Londoner! Originally from Hants but have spent 18 years in London and am a City girl at heart.

Didn't realise I'd never posted on this thread. I'm a N Londoner - between Stamford Hill and Seven Sisters. Used to be a suburban Middlesex lady but moved here nearly three years ago now. (Time does fly!)
