Hello All

I have since a teenager developed blueish purple colouring when low temperatures in various bodily areas
face arms legs hands & feet.

I had a heart murmur at birth, I used to have panic attacks when aged 7-9 when I was running around or hyped I would feel a pounding heartbeat & would rush myself to my bedroom and grab my pillow from my bed to rest my head upon. I was frightened because it was my breathing that I felt was controlling itself.
This did naturally stop happening.

I spoke to a g.p who spoke about Raynard disease, yet never spoke of any treatments specifically (for me) they said that UV lighting is helpful in small amounts of exposure.

Does any one know of any herbal or alternative remedies to help regulate a healthy heart/blood circulatory system...?

Thank you (in advance) for any advice

Hello, everyone, still raining outside, but I digress. Read on unless you're wearing a tie.

I'm 54 and have a resting heart rate usually in the mid-50's. A little low perhaps but I do a lot of cardio exercise so that could be the reason for it. When I first wake up in the morning I've recently noticed that my heart is going a tad faster. I started monitoring it and it's mid-50's before going to sleep and then late 60's when I first wake up. Hardly racing of course and it doesn't wake me up, it just seems a little peculiar.
I've tried using the illustrious "Google" and read a bit about anxiety disorders and sympathetic nerve system sleep wake transitions - most of the info is too non-specific and fairly ambiguous, so if anyone has any personal experience of this phenomenon I would be interested to hear (or read) it.
Thank you very much.

Hi all,

I am posting because I am concerned about my younger sister, who in February developed chest pains and difficulty breathing. The episodes come and go and seem unaffected by stress, sleep schedule, food, environment, and physical activity. While they occur, they last anywhere from half an hour to a few days, and she measured a 90 BPM resting heart rate. She has been seen by a professional, but an EKG revealed there was nothing wrong (she went in while she was feeling fine, so we actually don't have a scan of her heart while she has an episode). She is 130lb, 5'5", moderately physically active, high-achieving and stressed high school student, and a large chunk of her diet is meat.

My sister also has central diabetes insipidus for which she takes Desmopressin TEVA 0.1mg tablets bidaily, and in June she started a generic form of YAZ birth control for her acne.

I would like any input on possibly what my sister has, and what lifestyle changes our family should help her to make.

Bless all.

I have sufferedfor many years with BP about 15 years ago when I was on a tablets from the doctors eventually I threw them in the bin due to their side affects, I still suffer with high blood pressure according to the monitor I use, I have used others and get high readings still.
Surely it is natural for some people to live with high blood pressure, my pressure at the moment is 193/132 and my pulse is 100 this is a normal reading for me, I am told many times I shouldn't be here, but I am not ready to go yet.

I watch my health and have a reasonable amount of exercise, and appear to be quite healthy at the moment.(I am a 69)

I believe in natural cures and that there is a cure for everything on the planet already that God has given us!

I just have to find it, it seems!

Has anybody any suggestions, other than call a doctor!

Peace and light

Hi, im somewhat confused and looking for some advice.

I underwent minimally invasive spinal surgery 13months ago and have recovered really well. However last week I started getting a sharp pain in my left bicep and randomly it was followed by me becoming really tired?? I know its not gym related or muscular as i haven't done any upper body work. My question is im 6 days on and the sharp pain is now 80% what it was and stable but i went for a 10min walk tonight and im now exhausted. I dont mean tired, i mean my body was shaking the last 3mins of the walk and ive just got upstairs onto the bed.

Im going to the dr tomorrow as this is totally unlike me but my brother jokingly (although concerned) if i knew what a cardiac or panic attack felt like, which i dont? I suppose my question is does anyone know what either of these should feel like?

I appreciate anyones comments or advice

Hello earth people.

Having reached the grand old middle age of - well suffice to say the age my Father was when he died of a heart attack - I decided to get my cholesterol checked and had a fairly comprehensive blood test.
All is apparently well but I'm a little nonplussed by my cholesterol result:
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
HDL Level 2.0 mmolL (outside calculation reference range 0.9-1.6)
LDL Level 1.8 mmol/L
Triglyceride Levels 0.6 mmol/L
HDL ratio 2.1
Total cholesterol Level < 4 (estimate)
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I rang to find out what this actually meant and was told (I think) that the HDL level is outside the range for accurate calculation based on the logarithm they use.
My figures would produce a total figure of 4.08. But using the highest figure usable of 1.6 would produce a figure of 3.68. Therefore the superior figure of 2.0 produces an inferior total result. I therefore have nothing more accurate than an estimate of less than 4. Surely it must be possible to get something better than this.

 Where are my Mogadons?:)
