Hi . I am a male dairy farmer approaching the age of sixty in a few months , and apart from dodging on here from time to time ,have not posted very much!!
Would love to hear some of your thoughts , should you have the patience to humour me for a minute or 2 !!:)
It would be fair to say I am a couple of stone overweight and I work too much ,(every day) dont get away on holiday much either and can be generally stressed lol
Have had a few yrs of feeling bloated , stomach doscomfort (but bowel habits regular )
Tried messing with my diet (cutting out milk , ha ,not good for a cowman!!) and that has helped me lose a bit of weight ,(now down to 14 and a half stone )
I have always had joint pain in the odd one of my fingers , and a bit of foot pain , plus feet feeling cold in winter all the time (suspected flat feet at one time) but this summer I had the most painful feet ,that ached and in wellies ,almost felt hot !!
I could hardly walk as the metatarsal area of both feet was tender !!
Have not been to doctors ,but suspected rheumatism myself. (after a friends advice)
At that time also , I was a beggar for Marmite under my scrambled egg on toast ,lashings of it !!
, And I enjoy a few pints (maybe 3 ) of real ale ,when crown green bowling, which ended in Oct.
So in the last few weeks have cut out the Marmite and had no real ale ,only a very odd can of lager ,and the odd glass of dry cider .
Also had a few Ibruprofen tablets when at my worst.
My hands are free of any pain now ,and my feet are better than they have been for a long time , although I had a couple of pints of ale 2 nights ago and immediately next morning my toe area felt a bit buzzy ,tingly even .
  Coincidence maybe?
I read about the links of yeast , candida , arthritis , and I do wonder if diet and particularly yeast , have a big effect on my health ??
Sorry folks , I have ignored my doctor , told you my symptoms then diagnosed myself too !!!

Hello I am a newbie to this site and I hoping somebody here can help me.
I have been suffering lower back pain for about 8 years.
At first it was diagnosed as Sciatica.
I was given Cocodamol and Naproxen and a course of Physio.

But it never really got any better and after a very sever episode this summer (3 months off work) I went back to my GP and begged for further investigation.
This was done and now I have been diagnosed with Osteoarthritis of my spine.

I asked for a referral to a local spinal unit but have been told there is no point as nothing can be done!
They have now given me Gabapentin which has helped, but I am only 48 and in so much pain I am scared about how this will progress and what the future holds for me.

I already have to be careful how I interact with my grandchildren (both less than 2yrs old) I can't play with them as I would like or pick them up a lot of the time.
I have had to reduce my working hours as I am desk bound and can't sit/stand for long periods.

Please can anybody tell me if there is something that could be done.

Many thanks.

Many years ago I lost a friend who suffered terribly from arthritis, I believe he died of the treatments not of the arthritis he was in his early 30s I believe, I was sad to lose a friend like this.

Just after he died I found out about hydrogen peroxide food grade, which I believe would have helped him, so I studied it, as I do other things and found a supply, which has dried up.

It has become harder to obtain because of its properties, I believe I do not suffer, as bad as some people do (very minor).

So I am making people aware of this call it a cure.. It is very strong, so I'd suggest you do your homework on its, when I started taking it,(three drops in water) it was on an empty stomach because it will react with what ever is in your stomach, but the benefits are incredible

Read up about it on line, there is too much for me to put here, it is easier for people to source the information, as I am no expert, but there are probably some here that can advise.

God gave us a cure I believe for all of or ailments!

Peace and light
Peter

I am a Product Design student currently in my final year of study. It involves seeking out a problem and finding an innovative solution to that problem. A problem that has taken my interest is the concern that many people who suffer with arthritis find it difficult to refuel their cars, both unscrewing the petrol cap and squeezing the handle for a prolonged period of time. I’m trying to gather some information from people who may have experienced the problem first hand.

I’m interested in any information that you may be able to give me that may help.

Any help is greatly appreciated!

Hi all,

I have arthritis in both knees, hips, left shoulder, right elbow and wrist, left elbow, and starting on my fingers. I am on morphine for the pain, along with naproxen, tramadol and co-codamol, but tbh it doesnt touch the sides.

I work fulltime, commuting into the City, a 50 min trip morning and afternoon, and outside of my working hours run a small business providing healer and spiritual training.
On Sundays, I run the local spiritualist centre, which I set up from scratch four years ago.

Most of the time Im ok with it all - although I would love to be able to stop commuting, my husband is not in a position to support me financially, so this isnt going to happen. It makes my life very difficult, as the pain caused by the walk to and from my office, and then up three flights of stairs is immense.

However I am now at a stage where I am being referred for a wheelchair. I dont feel good about this - Im 51, and hope to still have a few good years in me ! The pain over the last few weeks has been very hard to bear, frankly if I didnt have my son and mother to consider I dont think I would still be here.

Can anyone offer me tips on remaining positive ? Most of the time Im ok, but for some reason the last few weeks have prioven very challenging. The wheelchair issue is a concern, and the pain is pretty tough.

Im short tempered, which is not like me, and finding it hard to focus on my work, As I work in sales, and commission is part of my income, the brain fog from the meds is making working hard too, but as stated above I have no option to give up.

Suggestions anyone ?

Jay :)
