Description

I am experienced in Sports and Remedial, Swedish, Deep Tissue and Pregnancy Massage. I enjoy providing treatments and making people relaxed and relieved of tension! Swedish massage is relaxing, whereas Sports and Deep Tissue massage are firmer styles, working deeper into the muscles and targetting specific areas of tension; in Sports using various techniques additional to massage such as assisted stretching techniques. Pregnancy massage is carried out after the first trimester and most of it is done with the client lying on her side. It is very relaxing, too. I have a BTEC Level 5 in Sports Massage, a BTEC Level 4 and an ITEC Level 3 in Holistic / Swedish Masasge, and diplomas in Deep Tissue and Pregnancy Massage.

I also offer Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD), which can be good for detoxing, reducing swellings post-operation / injury, aiding digestion, combatting skin conditions such as acne and possibly for boosting the immune system (I am not, however, currently trained to treat people with oedemas using this therapy). MLD is a very gentle therapy and so is relaxing and calming. I have been trained in the Level 1 Vodder technique.

I offer a mobile service, as well as treating people at the movingartsbase, Islington.

I am flexible - I am free to work most days 'til 10.30p.m. Please contact me to check my current availability.
