Default Insurance for Thai Massage

Hi,

For those of you who are insured for Thai Massage.

If you don't mind me asking, who are you insured with and how much do you pay.

I need to get some insurance, I am qualified in Holistic Therapies and Beauty therapies, but......... I have enrolled for a Thai Massage course and don't want to get out two lots of insurance.

Thankyou in advance.

Hi DG

I get my insurance through Holistic Insurance Services (HIS) and they cover me for all bodywork at the same price. I can't remember off the top of my head but it's around £50 for the basic policy being a member of the CThA. (Unfortunately I pay far more than that due to coverage of teaching CPD and the practice of acupuncture - such is life). Non-CThA members may have to pay a little more than that.

I think you will find that most insurance companies will provide you with cover at no extra cost.

best wishes

RP

Balens have a sliding scale so can't tell you how much, but Thai massage is one of the top tier prices.

Balens don't charge me any extra for extra stuff I add on. I am paying 75 quid a year though. That gives me 5 million cover.

Thankyou everyone for your responses.

I shall give Balens and Holistic Insurance Services a ring today.

Hi,

Thought I would post a quick update.

I bought my insurance from FHT, it cost me £99.07 which includes the membership.

It took the FHT a couple of days as they wern't sure if Thai massage was included. But all is sorted now.

Balens were a bit expensive for now.

Thankyou all for your help.

Hi,
I have insured through Towergate for years I have found them very easy to deal with. My policy is somewhat pricier over £170 but that does also include teaching.
