vctc swedish massage course

hi all im new to the forum, and im in the middle of doing a swedish massage course vctc, im wondering if any one has done this course latley and what is the written exam like and the questions asked. would much appreciate your answers

I did this course about 3-4 years ago, there was a practical assessment and a mulitple choice exam, the exam didn't cover massage techniques or anything like that, it was totally on Anatomy & Physiology.

I've just started the course too and very much enjoying it. I thought at first the assessment book was a bit scary, but after the tutor explained all the assessments I can't wait to start seeing them get sign off.

Hi I have just started this course, about 4 weeks ago, I don't have to take any exams, just assessments and case studies. A&P and Health and Safety I have already done.

I did the course getting on for two years ago. As Angel said, the last paper was multiple choice and mostly A&P. They like to try and catch you out though by spelling things wrong or wording things in a way that could be misread quite easily. So make sure you read the questions carefully.

After the main practical exam they asked us a couple of treatment related questions. It's a fun course. I hope you all enjoy it.

I did this last year, the multiple choice test was quite ridiculously easy, nothing to worry about! everyone did it in around 20minutes!
I really enjoyed the course and I hope you do too.

I completed my swedish massage course this year, there were several tests through out the year, but not overly hard and if you got any questions wrong then later when the test was handed back you could go away and revise this stuff and then do those questions again later. The tutor was also very helpful and would talk through anything we were unsure about. The massage theory test at the end was very easy and everyone got 100% first time. It just asked you questions such as why is tapotement used? Good luck with the course.
