My first thought was your washing powder/detergent? Have you changed it recently? Or it may be with changing it, perhaps to a non-bio?

Sorry, I'm no expert but this is what came to mind first.

HI, Could it be linked to some sport or activity you do and its maybe causing you to chaff yourself []? Maybe tight clothing or denims or do you become a bit sweaty in that region? It might be you have to start eliminating different things one at a time to see if anything makes a difference. This could take a while to narrow things down but its one approach to the problem. It could be you are unaware of something simple you do and thats whats causing it.Also have you checked your testicles recently for lumps or any other signs of anything? If you have concerns why not see your GP. Iam sure they will help and give you some guidance even at the risk of you being a little selfconcious it would be worth the reassurance of knowing its nothing serious.

Hope that helps, Alex

Hi Azim. I know what you mean but its gotta be so uncomfortable at times! Would 5 minutes of 'exposing' yourself and getting it over and done with not be betternot to mention the relief you'd get compaired with that desire to scratch?

Hey, if it adds a little humour i went to the docs once with a huge boil on my backside. Think of that if it makes you feel better.

Your GP will have seen and dealt with things that are a lot worse and far more embarrassing believe me. Your GP deals with this stuff day in, day out, for weeks months and years so it wont be a big deal to them. Wear loose boxer shorts and that way you wont have to expose everything if you dont want to or try doing what i suggested earlier. But do give your GP a go. 5 Mins compared with hours of wanting to scratch..... See what iam saying?

Alex

Why should your GP laugh?!! - They've seen far too mant testicles to find your itchy ones amusing!!
A fungal thrush type infection is not uncommon in men's groin and testicle areas which causes itching - if it's that, it will need treating and your GP can presribe a medicated cream which will see it off in no time.
In the mean time keep 'em clean, dry and free from tight, restrictive clothing!! As another post suggested - change to boxers and possibly a different washing powder.
If you haven't been to the doc's by now then you're a fool to yourself.

It could be this.
[link=http://www.netdoctor.co.uk/diseases/facts/ringwormgroin.htm]http://www.netdoctor.co.uk/diseases/facts/ringwormgroin.htm[/link]

in which case Lamisil cream will help. You can buy it at the pharmacist.

Allphysical reactionsare psychosomatic. Have you ever had this before? When was the first time it happened? If you think back to the first time it ever happened and what was happening in your life - that is, a suppression from someone, family, work, something bothering you, etc... you will find that it has been restimulated again and is causing this. Thinking back, realising it and then facing it head on will prevent this from recurring.

Additionally, tohelp clear it up, wearCOTTON and do not use perfumed products anywhere on your body. Also, drinkALKALINE water,and drink as much FRESH fruit juice and eat crisp fresh vegetables. The reaction you have is a store of toxins trying to get out so purify your body and release those toxins!

Happy cleansing!
