The cup is full and overflowing, the blue calm water inviting and a dolphin is enjoying life.
I would be quite happy to draw this card. If the sun is rising it's going to be a nice day, if it's setting, then it's already been a good day. We always feel happier with the sun shining. Happiness & contentment.

Default Wheel of Fortune

gilded Tarot, Wheel of fortune can be seen here.

http://www.wasserfrau.com/gilded_tarot.jpg

Interestingly, I shuffled the pack and picked the four of swords....rest, time for bed , I shuffled again, one flicked up and literally, honestly twirled and spun like a "sycamore helicopter seed", to the floor,
and it was the Wheel of Fortune, spinning an turning!!

This card makes me think of time, astrological influences, boundaries, the hand of fate, something out of my control, what goes up must come down. If this was a gift being offered to me...I would take it
as a gift of time....and use it wisely.

This card speaks to me of completion, wholeness. Everything in alignment. New beginings. A new cycle. There is agreat deal of warmth coming off of this card.

Very apt for me at the moment, as my husband and I have decided to give our relationship a second chance after 20 months of seperation. We have grown so much in that time, and everything has come around full circle.

I am always pleased if I draw this card. To me the wheel shows power, movement. Could it signify the start of something new, or maybe the continuation of something good happening in life?

Well Fleur, looks like we've been left to it on this thread and the 3 card spread. With all the people that request readings I thought more would have a go themselves.
We'll have to get some cards with streakers on, raise a bit of interest!!

Default The emperor

from the Glastonbury Tarot.
This seems like the powerful leader, the logical mind, laying firm foundations to a project, action and go getting with all the red influence in his clothes. Astrological link with Aries. Self confidant and successful, knowing what he wants and how to go about getting it, demonstrating power through clear thinking, leadership, and commanding respect.

So for example..........if I was to engage on a sensible eating plan, in order to lose weight the energy of the Emperor would be one of my greatest allies, showing me clear logical thinking, planning, determination to successfully reach my goal.. He has the relevance of the number 4. He hasn't got to where he is by being weak willed!!

The Emperor - a sign of authority and power.
Could maybe show that a situation is under control or to go the opposite way, maybe someone with more authority than yourself is standing in your way.
Perhaps a dominant person is about to enter your life?

Well Fleur, it looks as though everyone has deserted us on this thread. Calla Lily - where are you?!

How about - instead of posting a card today, I'll write a description and see if you can work out which card it is?
I have put a clue in otherwise it will be too hard for us tarot virgins. (well, me anyway)! Here goes.....

Since the fool started on his spiritual journey, he has been tested and tried, confused and scared, dismayed and amazed. But this is the first time that he has been simply and purely happy. His mind feels illuminated, his soul light and bright as a sunbeam. (from aeclectic tarot)

Key phrases; Communication, sharing, energy, happiness

It mentions it as a keyword in the Tarot Bible.
Quote - As a 'you now' card, the Sun implies it is time to communicate your feelings & express your dreams.

Treacle & Fleur,

Have to join in on this but finding it hard to get time to sit down with my cards. I am a complete newbie on this and have my Rider Waite deck as I was advised this deck is the best to begin with. I look at the cards and just wonder, have thought maybe it's not the right time for me to learn now but after reading this thread I think I will have to bite the bullet and be brave and just say what I think - well not tonight cause it's a bit late!

Love & blessings,

Rachel

Your post will be most welcome as we are feeling a bit lonely on here!
I'm right at the beginning too. I have bought the Tarot Bible but don't look in it until I have tried to come up with something first. Then I look incase I am posting anything too stupid!

Maybe then Treacle, I will have to pm you to check for my interpretation in your bible before posting!!!

I really would love to learn this by intuition and not by the book though it's easier said than done!

Love Rachel

Just a little thing I do when trying to find the meaning of a card for the day. Because I am learning, i look at the card first to find anything in it, then I look up the meaning in the book....then I try to find something going on in my life I can apply that energy today.

For instance I chose the World card this morning............completion, achievement, end of a cycle or beginning of a new cycle perhaps. But I decided to apply it as the energy of mother earth, the globe, and I have actually done some earth removal today, gardening (Muck spreading to be exact. wellies and everything). But for me that was the link, as it is an unusual activity for me. Also a bit of house clearing, and removal of stuff finished with, to allow the next lot to come in.......all this was my intuitive link to the World (Earth) card/energy.

Perhaps some of the experienced readers could offer some guidance?
