Default Pregnancy Reflexology

Hello All,
I'm currently 18 weeks pregnant and i was thinking about seeking out a pregnancy reflexologist. Even though I'm trained in reflexology i and unsure what extra training one needs to treat pregnant ladies. I also heard that you can tell the sex of the baby...by the bulge on left of right foot in the womb area.

Would love to hear from anyone who is trained in pregnancy reflexology and what there training involved.

Many blessings
Rachelx

Hey Rachel.

I'm looking to do maternity reflexology and I have seen a course that is only 4 days long that allows you to practice maternity reflexology, obviously for those who already hold a diploma in reflexology.

I've just trained as a HypnoBirthing practitioner and will be doing my doula training too. Not sure if you've heard of hypnoBirthing, but thought I'd share it with you and plant the seed.

I had my second child using the techniques and it has been life altering! Thoroughly recommend it. Wishing you and your baby a healthy, happy journey. : ) much love Rachael.

Hi Rachel,

Firstly congratulations on your pregnancy!

I am a reflexologist and have done the fertlity/maternity/post natal course and this is my area of special interest/experience.

I would definately recommend reflexology throughout pregnancy! I have had some lovely clients who have really benefited from regular reflexology for pregnancy related symptoms, sleep, relaxation, particularly closer to the due date, also at 40 weeks with inducing labour.

Good luck!

I'm coming to this late but I did my training with Susanne Enzer who was superb. She has a list of reflexologists who completed her training here on her website.

Hi, I would also thoroughly recommend the Maternity Reflexology course by Suzanne Enzer and would suggest finding someone in your area who has attended her course if at all possible Tracey
