Default Foot reading?

Hi All,

Just wondering if anyone has ever read any books or taken a course in foot reading?

I was cold emailed by someone who offers it, claiming to be the UKs leading 'celebrity' foot reader and has written several books on the subject. TBH the word 'celebrity' put me off, but maybe some of you might have heard of or trained with her: Jane Sheehan??? Or maybe you may have read her books?

I was taught general foot reading on my reflexology course many moons ago, and have developed my skills over the years through my practice. So feel I have a good general knowledge. Just wondered what you all thought.... and whether it might be worth buying a book...?

Thanks,
Pinga

I've done Jane Sheehan's foot reading course - it was a great weekend! I was the only one on the weekend who wasn't a reflexologist, but it didn't matter! Jane has indeed been on radio, TV and she was featured in a recent edition of FHT's Therapist magazine. It was fascinating to discover how much our tootsies, hard skin, nails, blisters and callouses could say about us!

Thanks for your reply Meurighj; great to have a positive response and that you found it interesting.

Would also be useful to gain the perspective of any Reflexologists who've done a course like this, to know if what was offered tallied with your own experience as practitioners. I often wonder whether there is really a universal reading of what hard skin, bunions, moles, etc mean or can be interpreted to mean...? In a way, a bit like dream dictionaries; is there more than one way of looking at presenting information? I'd be fascinated to know peoples views.

I have done foot reading with Sue Ricks, and have bought Jane Sheenan and Moshe Krushicks books, I love it, you will be amazed at how accurate it is.

I would love to do one of Janes courses she seems a lovely lady

Smile foot reading

Hi
I have a copy of Jane Sheehan's book Let's read your Feet - I bought it on Amazon after listening to Jane at our local Association of Reflexologists group meeting, she gave a really interesting and entertaining talk on foot reading. I think she also does workshops in London that are approved by the AOR.

More recently I was at a foot reading party and had my feet read by Jane, she was amazingly accurate ! one of our AOR group has completed the e-course you can see on Jane's website which I'm told is very good, though haven't looked at it myself.

Is it useful for Reflexologists when meeting a client for the first time? well, yes I suppose if you've learnt the basics you may pick up on some character traits and get to know your client a bit better!

I'm sure foot reading would would be well received at indulgence/pamper evenings too

Default Foot Reading

Hi, I used Jane's book during my reflexology training and found it very helpful. I have done her course when she came to Ireland and thoroughly enjoyed the weekend. She read my feet during the course and was extremely accurate. I have also met Moshe Kruchik (did his maternity reflexology - can only say good things about it) and I bought his foot reading book too. He and Jane have met and read each others feet, they approach it from completely different angles and both are equally accurate (his words). There are several different authors on the subject, Chris Stormer, Imre Somogi
