Default Private Healthcare & Reflexology

Hi all, I haven't posted on here in a while but was wondering if anyone could help. I'm trying to compile a list of private health care plans that currently offer reflexology as a treatment that is covered so I can advise my clients accordingly. Am always being asked but so far have not been able to advise. Does anybody have a list or know of any of the private healthcare plans that offer this? I know that BUPA offer certain things but not reflexology. I would be grateful for any help. Thanks in advance! x

Hi, one of my clients claimed for her maternity reflexology through Pruhealth. It took a while and a couple of resubmissions of details but I believe she got the money back in the end. Tracey

All of the following have Health Cash Plans that offer/include Reflexology. Although you would need to read the small print to make sure they accept your qualification/membership organisation.

Bupa
Sovereign
Paycare

I hope this is helpful.

Any Bupa clients would need to read the small print on their premiums - I don't see any mention of 'reflexology' as a designated therapy on my paperwork. They are quite limited with which comp therapies they will fund - I can only see chiropractic, osteopathy, acupuncture and MLD on mine.
