Reflexology Course in Bristol/Bath

I am thinking of studying Reflexology in the Bath/Bristol area. I have found the following schools:

• Bath Reflexology Centre
• Bristol School of Holistic Therapies
• International Institute of Reflexology in Bristol

Are there any practitioners or students that can give me their thoughts about these schools?

The Bath School of Reflexology has the course which is the route to qualifying and becoming a Member of the Association of Reflexologists which is one of the leading assocations in the UK.

The IIR in Bristol teaches the original Ingham Method and again is very reputable.

Either of these two would be very suitable. Just depends on where you are situated in relation to the venue. Hope that helps.

The Bristol School of Holistic Therapies gets my vote. I know several therapists trained there and they all felt they got comprehensive training and good support.

I'd steer clear of courses with words like 'method' and 'type' they tend to get you pigeon-holed.

I was a member of AOR for a while and found them very rude and unable to answer anything above a simple question. I would look for a course that enables you to get membership of the International Federation of Reflexologists (IFR). Usually these will be City & Guilds or IEB awards.
