World War II - A poem
Written by my daughter who really made me take a deep breath when I read this
W.W.II We will remember. We will remember him, As he ran past the bullets of death. And as the bombs came down as fast as rain, As he ran through the bodies as red as poppies and broken. He stopped, forgetting about the war and the man and stared at the body… He stared at the body as the screams and shouts echoed around him. It was his brother, his heart brokeinto 1 million pieces. As he stood there the man saw him and brought out his guilty gun. It all happened so fast the shot, the drop and the death. The man was a murderer, everyone was… We will remember awful, horrifying moments like these. We will remember them, FOREVER! By Tamzin Stanbrook 10
