Hello, I'm new
Hi,
Joined this forum yesterday, and spent some time reading the posts, but thought it would be nice to introduce myself. I am a music teacher, teaching Clarinet and Piano privately, and going into a school to teach classes of 30 general music (lots of noise, and lots of drums!)
I found this forum whilst looking around for somewhere I could talk to others who have back problems. I have two herniated discs, one of which presses on the sciatic nerve. This injury was caused over two years ago now, and it's not getting any better! This weekend, I was in agony, today is much better, just a bit uncomfortable (with painkillers). Had steroid caudal epidural injection and facet joint injections back in May, brilliant, but have now worn off.
I also have migraines regularly, mild(ish) asthma, and vocal nodules too. Not sure where those last two complaints should go when I'm talking about them.
Anyway, if you've read this far, you deserve a medal!
Susan
