Milk Thistle for liver

Hi. I would be grateful for your thoughts on Milk Thistle for someone with Autoimmune Hepatitis, which has caused liver cirrhosis. My wife is taking Prednisolone, Propranolol and Tacrolimus, and although we are pretty sure a milk thistle supplement will be ok, we wondered if anyone knew of any specific problems with this. Our GP is not particularly helpful with this, and we are not keen to ask the liver experts at Kings. We would be happy to receive any advice you have.
