Default Cork area?

Hi everyone!

I live in the Cork area, and was just wondering if there were many users in and around this area?

I'm just about to start training in kinesiology (already did a foundation course). I know that I have to do case studies, so I may need to find guinea pigs

It would also be cool to know who was in the area that is up for treatment swaps etc. This may have been covered before, but I didn't find anything like it in this regional section.

Hey Anxious!

Whereabouts are you from? I only moved here a year ago. I'm from Newtownards, Co. Down. I live pretty close to Clonakilty as I'm living in Bandon... It's such a small world really

Hey Stardust

So happy there's another Corkonian here!! I actually did my foundation through TASK in Belfast, but I've switched now to the KCI - Kinesiology College Ireland with Ger Casey. It does mean that I'm doing the foundation over again. TASK do 'Balanced Health' as their foundation. KCI do 'Touch For Health' as their foundation. There's quite a big difference between the two, particularly even with the volume of work that gets covered. TFH seems to cover way more information. The KCI is in Midleton, and the next TFH course starts September 18th if you're interested? Check out the KCI website for more info.

I can't wait to get started at it again because I finished the TASK course a few months ago now, so I feel like all learning has just stalled!

I'm also really excited because I want to do a BSC in Herbal Medicine at Napier, and it looks like I can get on to the course without any issues (except that it's 2 years away!). So I'm already excited about September 2011

Are you a practitioner of any therapies yourself?

Hi Cody! I haven't been on here in a while actually - I go through stages of being on constantly to not being on at all Guess it depends what's going on in one's life!
