Default polycystic ovaries and IHM

New client very concerned about hair thinning possibly due to polycystic ovaries (I have not met client yet only had a telephone conversation), they are hoping that IHM will help them....my question to all those who do IHM, have you treated a client with this condition and has it helped with the hair growth.

Many thanks

Hi AP

Hair thinning suggests an hormonal issue, and this should be looked at by either a tricologist(sp), herbalist, nutritional therapist or a holistically-minded medical doctor.

IHM may help locally on the scalp and I doubt if it is a solution. I'm sorry to have to say this, but eventhough IHM is a wonderful therapy, I think this potential client is looking for some miracle cure. PCOS is an internal problem and better treated internally. Reiki/IHM may be more useful as part of an overall treatment program.

Best wishes

RP
