Well, if it's as hot tomorrow as it's been today I shall be making some flower essences of my own, via the sun method.
I have bought some bottled spring water today, and a little bottle of brandy to preserve, just hope I can find some suitable bottles in my aromatherapy stash, which I can sterilise.
Heres a little poem I wrote to go with forget me not
Forgot me not, is not true blue
When you look closer, there's a lavender hue
Amongs the fauna she is so dainty
With pretty, five petal bonnets a plenty
Her voice is so light, barely a fairylike yawn
I give you, the soul of my essence, so you can learn
Your karmic purpose, I will help you connect
I give you, a guiding chord, so you won't forget.

Forget me not, can help with Karmic relationships in the here and now, or link with those who have passed to spirit, so I suppose a little of a mediumistic link, or to help when grieving.
I am now in the throngs of reading and research for these flower remedies
I am absolutely amazed though that the Bach Flower remedy impatiens, as it's name would suggest is for those who need to learn patience with themselves and others, is non other, than the flower of Himalayan Balsom. It grows rampant in my neck of the woods, so learning about its signature, floral attributes is great because I can examine the flower at close range when they blossom....The speedy weed . Shallow roots (short staying power), watery hollow stems (fastest route from a to b), and explosive seed heads going off at any moment, with the least little touch. (short fuse).
me too, it was an unexpected suprise as i've been reading the posts in this thread.. initially, i was drawn here because i've just been buying some lovely dropper bottles in the hopes of making my own essences too (via the sun method also) but the poem was an added bonus.. reminds me of my mum as she has always shown me forget me nots..
thank you fleur for sharing.. i notice this thread is quite old but i hope you're still enjoying making lovely remedies..
