Yes Fleur that is actually a really good point.
I often find with the holistic approach that a combination of things generally seem to support an improvement. For instance in the case of stress we all look at what we eat, time management, esential oils, different therapies etc etc etc and all know that each has its part to play in the overall picture of relaxing the body and mind but I see what you are saying in that you may not know if its the oil you've just had zipping through your diffuser, or it's your Rescue Remedy that has calmed you down for example.
On a personal note I think its building blocks with me - I guess because over the years I have tended to use one thing at a time I can build on that and know which theraputic treatment works for what for me and for what period of time.
I like essential oils and crystals for a background support in everyday life (and I'm thinking the flower remedies to back this up as a long term therapy too) whereas I tend to use things like reflexology and homeopathy for more acute conditions if that makes sense.
