Default Iron/Vitamin B-12 Deficiency

For sometime now I have had headaches, pale skin, feeling tired quite often, breathlessness when doing minor physical activities. I read up on this and found it could be an Iron or B12 deficiency amongst others. I take a multivitamin once a day but is it possible these minerals are not being absorbed properly?. Would it pay me to take Iron and B 12 tablets/vitamins, if so are their any recommended ones?
Also, if I took Iron tablets would that effect my copper levels.

Thanks

May I suggest you get this checked out by the GP? This is something to be tested for rather than taking a supplement and hoping it will do the trick.

Lack of iron and B12 is usually found in long-term vegetarian/vegans, unless there is a physical aspect that needs dealing with that needs investigating. What you eat and drink is the single most important thing you do for your health - good or bad. A wholefood diet is the cornerstone of good health.

Hi Ducky . .

Just a thought ...

A deficiency in B6 leads to shortness of breath, fatigue, pale skin, coldness in hands and feet, and numbness and tingling of extremities.
Also at times when bacteria / fungi builds up it can fill the air sacs in the lungs .

Do you have excess phlegm trouble breathing through the nose at night etc ..

Also There’s a lot of information out there about shortness of breath, or asthmatic symptoms, but how many people know that this is very much linked to a severe and chronic case of dehydration?

Just had a read of that link, looks like I could fit into any of those categories haha. As I have fatigue most the time, not a lot of energy when it comes to the afternoon/evening, 4pm onwards. I've had pale skin for the majority of my life so it is hard to think I could be lacking such vitamins for so long however I'm sure it's possible. I know I need to maintain a balanced diet, however are there tablets around which contain all the
Vitamin B minerals?

Thanks
