Hi Jocky, whilst the basics of EFT are relatively simple to learn, it isn't just about tapping on the acupressure points, as it has a significant psychological component.
Very briefly, you need to focus on the specific problem which is bothering you, rate the intensity 1-10, use a concise but accurate phrase to describe what you are experiencing - this could be an unpleasant physical sensation, an emotion about something (include a brief description of the "something" into the phrase), a worrying/disturbing thought, an external trigger (something you see, hear or sense that triggers the intense response). You would normally say this phrase out loud at each tapping point, and after each round of EFT (a "round" is a set of all standard points) adjust the phrasing to describe what you are experiencing RIGHT NOW (which could be a little or very different from your starting phrase).
