7 year old with fluid retention in face ?

I was approached by a mum at the school today who told me her 7 year old has been going back and forward to a doctor with reference to fluid retention in his face. This young boy has been going back anf forth to doctors since he was 3 and they have ruled lots of things out (allergies, asthma along with others) he suffers from headache, blocked nose, colds she wanted to know if Hopi ear candles would help. I told her I would look into it as I was in a hurry and get back to her.

Any thoughts ?
