Can anyone recommend (or do you even know of) a detox retreat in the UK... I fancy going away for either a long weekend or a week and staying somewhere where I'm detoxed and come back feeling wonderful...
You could be adventurous by visiting Scotland and try the Roundelwood Spa in Crieff - http://www.roundelwoodhealthspa.co.uk/news.html - beautiful surroundings and a whole host of different therapies and treatments. I've visited (live locally) and have clients who use it regularly, especially for the arthritis treatments.
I've not been to any in the UK yet, but there is a good one in Thailand called Spa Samui, where you can do a 7 day detox program. Also a similar one in Bali, which on certain times of the year has the author Daniel Reid and wife Snow in attendance - Dan for me is the man, been doing it and training for over 30 years!
