In particular, when I asked the pendulum whether it was in my highest interests to do a particular training course that I have been aspiring to for some time, it answered 'no' (on more than one occasion). I can't think why this would be the case, i.e. what the problem could be.
Is it OK to 'go against' the pendulum's advice?
Are there any books/websites you could recommend to answer this a type of question and to give me a clearer idea of using the pendulum properly?
Thanks a lot

Hi Sarah .
The pendulum In my eyes can be used as a tool that can bring about a truthful answer In ways of yes and no responses via certain directional swings (as we know) .
I have also seen that untruths can come about from an answered response using the pendulum also .
Some may feel that It Is our own subconscious mind that Is the energy source behind It’s movement and yet I have seen a spirit girl once use her own energy to move the pendulum also .
I know a few people that depended on the answers of a pendulum for almost every action taken from should they do this or that today or should I eat this type of food to what crystal I should keep upon their person . lol .
I have only used the pendulum once In my life (lol) many years ago when I first started healing and I was questioning myself at the time as to why I didn’t feel right about giving a particular person healing . I couldn’t possibly fathom out as to why I shouldn’t - using the pendulum also gave me a no answer as to not heal this particular person .
I did though end up giving healing to that person (he hehe) doh!! and what happened was that I had transferred some energy from my last patient from moments earlier on to the next person . (only temporary transference of energy by the way)
So In that Instance I ignored my own intuition and the truthful answer via the pendulum .
I am not a great fan of using any tools to be honest but It Is possible that they do work and are accurate “at times” .
Sometimes having further confirmations Is advisable .
