They've phoned my business just a couple of days ago to give me the hard sell. They thought I'd by impressed by all the NHS workers they would be sending through my door. Fortunately I've come across them before, and know that it's expensive advertising for little or no return.

This is who is really behind them:

Just another company selling advertising space.

I work for the NHS, and have not come across this company before, and if I had, wouldn't have used the services advertised there as I would probably seek out a therapist through a personal recommendation. Would agree with Myarka, not worth the money, just another company trying to milk the supposed NHS affiliation which in itself is very questionable.

It's a sad world when companies have to dream up such dribble to make a quick buck, and sucker money from us therapists with dreams of NHS work that never manifests.

I wouldn't touch it with a 60ft barge pole!

I had a sales person come out to see me a few years back (can't imagine it has changed much) to advertise in a booklet given to everyone in the NHS.
They showed me how my advert would appear in the booklet and urged me to offer a discount for anyone bringing the booklet/advert with them.

I asked a couple of friends that work in the local hospital and although they said that they did receive the booklets they didn't open them and shoved them in the back of their lockers.

I decided against it.

Hello all

I had a phone call from this company just a couple of days ago too and they really put on the hard sell. I was saddened at how misleading their sales pitch seemed to be as it was only with a lot of questioning that I got to the bottom of their fees!

I realise that the decision whether to advertise with companies like this are our own choices as therapists but I decided not to go with them after giving it some thought and checking out what you thought on this forum and so I wanted to say thank you! This has been a great help as a newbie (in business and in the forum!)

Hope you aren't too chilly this weekend!

Gill x
