I`ve just finished beauty therapy at colege (as a mature student) and i think different places are taught different ways .we were taught remove eye make up and lipstick.Double cleanse, skin analysis, exfoliate, steam, massage, masque ,tone and moisturise takes 1hour 10mns with the steam. hope that helps. x

Hiya, As mentioned there are so many routines out there, but we too were taught to remove lip and eye make-up first then go on to superficial then deep cleanse. Also you would only steam for a certain lenght of time dependant on the clients skin type/condition,which you would determine after the skin analysis.
If you would like me to send you copies of my notes which include diagrams of routine please contact my e-mail and i will be happy to pass them on !

Hi everyone.

I've got facial routine mentioning as well superficial and deep clensing but don't think i was actually shown to perform superficial cleanse (except eye and lips make up removal). What product do you use for superficial cleanse of the face? Is it different from the one u use for deep cleanse?

Thanks.

Superficial cleanse, deep cleanse, tone (I like to use rose water for this) exfoliate and rinse, mask and remove, massage to the face, neck, chest and shoulders. While the mask's on I ask the client if they would like a foot or hand massage to keep me busy.
