Default Ayurveda Books

Can anyone recommend a good Ayurveda book?

I would like something that explains how to incorporate Ayurvedic principles into your life such as nutrition, cleansing, etc. and explains things such as the body types.
I would like to find a book that is accurate and written by someone fully trained in Ayurveda rather than something just aimed at selling to westerners. I want to learn about Ayurveda to improve my yoga practice.

Thanks for any recommendations.

Yes, would recommend 'Boost Your Vitality with Ayurveda' by Sarah Lie - good basic book written by a qualified Ayurvedic practitioner. Should still be available on Amazon.

Thank-you for your suggestion. It's on amazon and there's a section to read on there so I'm going to have a look at it now.

Another book I'm reading at the moment and finding quite interesting is The Ayurveda Encyclopedia by Swami Sada Shiva Tirtha.

Such an amazing and interesting system, I just wish it was more widely recognised and used in the world.
