Default wrist pain

I have developed arthritis in my wrist. No way around it. Apart from just not doing anything I am not used to doing. The bracelets don't work, just live with it I guess. I think the placebo effect of a gel called arnica gel that my mom gave me had some effect. The smell put people off but I don't care about that, it flakes off and you naturally keep the joint stiff while it is on so the limited movement helps. Just that's life I guess. Some of us get away with it and some suffer.

Hi Baron
Welcome here.
Getting stung by stinging nettles now and again, totally eradicated early signs of stiffness of joints for me. I gently brush my hands against it, I work in garden without gloves that kind of brush is not too scary...
I swear by this home remedy. Give it a go, if you like. Leaves tingling sensation, nothing too unpleasant
Good luck

Hi Baron, welcome to Healthy Pages!

Not the end of the world - but a warning. Jnani's remedy may well help - worth a try for a little discomfort.

If you are in UK it would also be worth your while seeing a registered Nutritional Therapist who will work with your diet to reduce the inflammatory process and support the gut bacteria which are so vital to your wellbeing. Most arthritis begins in the gut when the bacteria get out of balance due to antibiotics, stress, low stomach acid, infections, food intolerances and so on. Once the gut wall is healed and the bacteria are better balanced the arthritis will resolve and it is quite possible to regrow the joint cartilage again, so don't give up hope! The NT will guide you through the process

All the best

I am intrigued to know the scientific evidence that cartilage can be regrown. I note that the link takes you to a very long advert for the information that costs a mere $55!

I have recently had my scaphoid removed and have had a four corner fusion of my wrist. I looked at such adverts but quite frankly didn't believe a word of it even though the marketing is extensive and after reading it you become almost brainwashed. I might put this amazing cure for cartilage regrowth to my consultant to see his reaction. I had my surgery on the NHS so the consultant gained nothing financially by doing the surgery.

If this sort of thing helps people by some kind of placebo effect then fair enough but I think its a load of cobblers and is making lots of money for the people concerned.

If you are looking for a supplement then this one might be helpful. I have no experience of it though, but the ingredients have all been proven to be supportive.

II am new here
and this is my first post here, so I do not know all the rules, I have studied arthritis a little over the years, I think I am just starting to get it in my fingers, from what I know hydrogen peroxide food grade in very small doses to start with, helps cure arthritis.
It is worth looking up online first of the dos and don'ts, it was hard to get hold of, I do not know if it still is.

Peace and light
Peter
