Default German Blue Chamomile

Hello,

I am hoping to pick your brains and looking for some suggestions about using German chamomile!

I am doing my case studies for VTCT Aromatherapy and it is one of our compulsory oils we must use. I know it has some really good and useful properties but heck does it smell awful, lol!

Any suggestions on oils any of you have found it blends well with to enhance the smell and make it palatable to use?

Many thanks

Guess I shall keep experimenting and hoping to come up with something that doesn't smell too bad, lol!

Hi pheonixstar,

I agree GC does have a particular smell

I generally use it with geranium or lavender. It does depend what you are hoping to create with the blend.

I usually instinctively pick out oils to blend and then run them past the recipient to see how they respond before I go any further.

You might well find that GC is fairly well received by male clients.
Brilliant for hay fever - so definately good in blends with myrtle or cypress.

I like blending it with neroli, bergamot or petitgrain.

Try it as a facial mist in orange blossom - gorgeous!
