Thumbs down Quinessence charges more money outside UK

Hi!

I don`t understand why the rest of the Europe needs to pay more if they are buying from Quinessence
If you live in UK, you can buy the same product cheaper and you get free delivery but if you live outside UK, you must pay more when you are buying the exact same product plus you have to pay for delivery
Is that fair
I`ve never seen a business doing this kind of discrimination
And I`m talking about Quinessence Aromatherapy...

It's not necessarily discrimination, and it's also done by other companies.
If a company is based in one country then their costs are lower to deliver products in that country than it will be to ship it abroad. Most companies have higher costs when shipping overseas.

The company you mention is based in the UK, so of course it's cheaper for them to supply people in the UK than people overseas.

It makes no sense to me that if you live outside uk,you must pay for the product more
Postal costs are different matter. It costs more to send an order abroad and for that people pay more than the locals. That`s a normal thing to do. Not this

Susy - If you check their site you will find that their prices for Europe and other further countries includes delivery. That is why the prices are different.

The extra that you mention is not for delivery, its for a signed for service so you can track your parcel in case it gets lost.

As Energylz, it's more expensive to post things overseas that in is the UK so you can't expect the prices to be the same. Have you ever posted a parcel overseas? - last one I sent cost a fortune and it wasn't heavy at all!

parcels I send to UK addresses cost between £5 and £10, but same sizes sent to Europe cost between £30 and £70, so prices to send abroad have to be more expensive.

Some companies can afford to absorb a relatively low postal charge, ie free delivery on orders over £40, in the UK, however, the cost of sending abroad would make this impossible.

Doesn't sound right. To pay that bit more to cover delivery costs yes, but more for the same product why. Just like buying off ebay for instance, a product costs the same but the delivery cost varies according to where you live.
